TRUMPF tools are held in tooling cartridges. While a job is running on your TRUMATIC machine, you can already be preparing the tools for the next job. The cartridges are quickly and easily loaded into the machine's linear magazine. The top quality, long-life tools are manufactured in TRUMPF's own Tooling Production in Farmington, Connecticut.

Besides holes, notches and contours, TRUMPF tools can be used for forming numerous types of shapes. Some examples: Louvers, beads, extrusions, threads and many others.

Custom tools are tested on a TRUMATIC punching machine. Only TRUMPF offers you this security: Prior to delivery, custom tools are tested on a TRUMPF punching/nibbling machine. This guarantees that machine and tool are optimally tailored for each other. All necessary programming and operating information is supplied with the tool.
