Icon Machine Tool was an exhibitor at Wichita Industrial Trade Show in Wichita, KS on Oct. 18-20, 2011. In the Icon booth we displayed several pieces of equipment including a TECHNI waterjet, a TRUMPF TruBend 5170 press brake, a Scotchman CPO350 coldsaw, a Lissmac edge rounding machine, a Scotchman 50 ton ironworker and multiple TRUMPF power tools.

TRUMPF U.S. Starts Work on New Building in Farmington, CT
With town approval secured earlier in 2006, construction of a new laser facility has now begun. The laser factory is designed to consolidate the company’s local laser R&D, manufacturing, assembly, and testing. The building will also house the VectorMark Group and IT departments. With a building footprint of approximately 64,000 square feet, the facility will offer more than 80,000 square feet of usable space.
Phase one of construction began on October 16. This phase involves site improvement near building two and three. Phase two, slated to begin in November, involves the construction of the laser facility and is expected to be completed by the beginning of 2008.
